Entertaining is a necessary part of social and corporate occasions alike. Clients of The Place at Harbour Crossing enjoy including wine, beer and/or liquors as part of the menu for their events. It adds to the festive atmosphere and meets guests’ high expectations.
As a former restaurant, The Place has a 70-foot long bar complete with ice bins and coolers. Some of our clients will set up a full bar with a variety of drink choices while others keep it simple with wine or beer. Wedding couples sometimes prefer to only have champagne on hand for a toast. That’s the advantage of choosing The Place – you get to decide what is the best fit for your event.
The Place provides a list of Preferred Vendors that have great relationships with our venue and clients including caterers who can also serve alcohol and offer bar-tending services. We want to be sure everyone drinks responsibly so The Place does require that events serving alcohol have a security guard present. Off-duty policemen as well as security services are included on our Preferred Vendors list to make finding one easy. Clients can also source their own security guard if they choose, but The Place does require that they be a law enforcement officer or trained guard.
Alcohol can add to the fun of an event, but the important thing is that guests get home safely at the end of the night.
